Sparkling Turquoise And Rubies... Or We Have Conquered Cashews!

I had my second consecutive day of no migraines yesterday, Sissy has new bone growth developing in her wrist & the bone stayed in place (we were worried after a little 'pop' last week) and she has now been able to eat pine nuts and cashews!

The latter is HUGE. We are all pretty amazed. : ) She was (understandably) very nervous. She has had to go to the ER before (and had five epi-pen shots) from eating one, single cashew.

I sat on the deck this morning having breakfast with my husband and thanking God. Build and Peace were our school words this year - I see new building happening in our bodies and in our home and it is bringing real peace. These (below) were our verses for this school year, too, and even with only four weeks of school left, I think God is still laying beautiful, new foundations in our family.

"Though the mountains be shaken
and the hills be removed,
yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken
nor my covenant of peace be removed,”
says the LORD, who has compassion on you...
I will rebuild you with stones of turquoise,
your foundations with lapis lazuli.
I will make your battlements of rubies,
your gates of sparkling jewels,
and all your walls of precious stones.
All your children will be taught by the LORD,
and great will be their peace."

We are SO thankful.

PS Trying to decide which nut to challenge next week and she is leaning towards macadamia nuts.
Yum. : )
