"Yet This I Recall To Mind And Therefore I Have Hope"

Our first neighbourhood party was a success - a bittersweet one
 We lined balloons up outside
And chewed happy gum

What happens when you mix a dozen kids, a dress-up box and a pandora hip-hop station?

Retro Lady

Sweet best friends and their tea-party on the lawn

The guys managed to crash the table to the ground

Still memorizing Job's words in my heart: "I know that you can do all things, and that no purpose of yours can be thwarted."

Not happy that I couldn't play with him

Extremely grateful we didn't end up in an ambulance

Pretty colour in the details all around me

Little boy reach

Kid fire power

Great men

Four goofs on a slide

Unexpected beauty

Having fun

Summer daisies are finally here

A challenge

Summer! Is! Finally! Here!

As usual one of my favourite moments in the last couple weeks I couldn't capture with a camera: the boys were racing across the jet black high school track so excited about the fourth of July when all of a sudden above them huge fireworks burst open. Their laughter, the middle of the night atmosphere and the rainbow colours showering onto us all created a moment of pure magic.

I'm thankful for every one of these moments.

Nikki - I just love you. More and more the more you write about yourself, too. For real.
